Research – Education - Outreach
Mission: To promote research, education, and outreach in ecology and environmental biology
Research: We facilitate research on 1) the ecology of flora and fauna in native habitats; 2) impacts of environmental perturbations on ecological communities; and 3) development of models and technological tools for predicting native and exotic species distributions.
Education: Our education efforts are dedicated to training undergraduate and graduate students in ecology and environmental biology through structured classes, independent projects, and hands-on field and lab studies.
Outreach: CEET's goals are to elevate social awareness about Louisiana's natural resources and to support public education and involvement in environmental issues.
